Hiring a search engine optimisation (SEO) company is vital in today’s internet-driven world. For a business to be truly successful a website is more than likely needed, and the best form of advertising online is through hiring a respectable SEO company.

Hiring the right SEO company isn’t easy – there’s so many out there, how do you choose the best one? Below are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a company to provide you with an SEO package:
- Google Results – Do they display the results from past and current clients on their website? A company with nothing to hide will always display results.
- Reputation - Have you checked out the reputation of the SEO company you’re looking at? Do they have good testimonials? Are you able to contact past and current clients?
- Price - The price should not be too cheap, but only pay what you can afford. If the company offers miracles in a few months then stay away! There are many cowboy SEO companies’ who claim to know what they’re doing but offer very little in return for your money.
At the end of the day, an SEO company that isn’t afraid to show past results is a company you should definitely consider hiring. If in doubt, contact a few past and current clients to really get a feel for the company; after all, you don’t want to rush into such a big decision (something that could decide whether your company makes an impact online or not!) without doing proper research.
